~ The Color Room - Revolving Door Artist ~

I am so excited to get to announce that I am one of The Color Room's Revolving Door Artists for palettes 54-57!!  I absolutely LOVE The Color Room and was so happy when Steph Devlin asked if I wanted to be an RDA.   Here is my layout for palette #54. 

I decided to go with a pic of Rylee being silly.  I think the personality of the photo went well with the fun bright colors of the palette!

~Punky Scraps Challenge 12~

I've been having a blast over at Punky Scraps and they are starting their April challenges up right now.  This latest challenge was to use orange, yellow, and green, but there was a twist.  The twist was you could only use one sheet of patterned paper.  Here is what I came up with!  I used a pic of my daughter Tyler and her cousin when they were little.  People always thought they were twins.  Look at that blonde hair lol!!!

 I ended up cutting a square out of the background patterned paper so I could create strips and make the green roses. 

 These little spots are just drops of stickles with a 4mm rhinestone pushed down into the center of them.

~ Sketches: Creatively Yours Sketch 2-11 ~

It's Friday and that means S:CY has a new sketch to reveal!!  Last week the reveal was every one's awesome DT submissions for the application.  This week is a brand new sketch and layout to match!! Check out S:CY on their blog and facebook page!  I love these sketches, because they are hand drawn by Ali MacDonald.  Here is the sketch and my take on it :)

This is of my daughter Rylee dressed up in a black wig.  These pics are from over a year ago, but I still had them in my "pics to scrap" filer, so I thought they would go with these awesome DCWV Colorful Life papers.  I hardly had to work this layout, because the papers speak for themselves!!  There are so many more papers in this pack that I can't wait to use!!    

I cut this flower from the background paper and hid the hole with my photo.  I strung some pretty little beads and wire for the center.  I think it looks cooler from the top view :)
