~Scraps of Darkness - The Guys~

This is my last layout using the September My Guy kit from Scraps of Darkness.  I decided to do a smaller size this time.  This photo was taken a few years ago of my hubby (the one leaning over into the bed of the truck lol) and a few of his friends.  Lots of texture on this puppy!

 So the bubbly gooey stuff is UTEE that I melted in my melting pot and poured under and over these gears.  Now if you do this you have to be really quick because this stuff hardens like right now!

 Here is some molding paste applied with a spatula and some mists and stains.

 I totally love this measuring tape ribbon.  I want more :D

This was created using the Scraps of Darkness My Guy kit from September.  This is a photo I took of my husband playing in his mud truck out in our field.

 I used spray adhesive to adhere the moss to the background.

~Dusty Attic Birds on a Wire Chippie~

I'm back to show a bit of Dusty Attic!! This layout features the Birds on a Wire chippie!! The photo is of my daughter and a younger friend of hers. 

 I just did a very simple treatment to the chippie.  I used black ink for the wire and colored in the birds with a marker and added a bit of sparkle to them.

~Scraps of Darkness - Pandora's Box~

Every month a Scraps of Darkness or Scraps of Elegance designer puts together a video showing how they put together a layout or project.  This month is my turn.  I decided to create a layout that is quick to make, but still looks fully loaded. 

 

This layout features my husband working in his shop.  This was a few years ago when he still chewed, so I threw the Copenhagen top on here as well.  Below you will be able to see the picture video of how I put this all together.

Hi Friends!! Back again to show you a layout with a quick and easy tutorial to fancy up your edges.  So funny little story....  I am a home school mom and recently had to learn how to use Power Point to help my daughter make a presentation.  Well I had fun with it and decided to use it for my tutorial as well.  Hope you like it!!
